First Trade on Us Live

Try a real BTC trade with zero downside. Deposit $250–$5,000 in USDC to receive one Trade on Us credit for a sponsored 2-minute BTC position. If the position closes in profit, the profit is credited to your Decibel account. If it closes at a loss, nothing is deducted from your deposit. Your deposit remains available to trade, but withdrawals are unavailable for the period of time corresponding to the leverage selected. How it works:
1

Deposit $250–$5,000

Log in or sign up at app.decibel.trade, then visit app.decibel.trade/rewards/first-trade-on-us. Deposit between $250 and $5,000 in USDC to receive one trade-on-us credit.
2

Choose your position leverage

Choose from leverage options (20x, 30x, or 40x). Your deposit amount determines the size of the sponsored BTC position, from $50 to $1,100. Your selected leverage determines how long your deposit has to remain in your trade balance. With higher leverage, you unlock more potential profit from the same BTC price movement (see the table below).
3

Use your Trade on Us credit

Once you’ve deposited and chosen your leverage (and corresponding lock period), confirming your selections will redeem your Trade on Us credit and open your position. The BTC position will remain open for 2 minutes and then will be closed. The direction — long or short — is set automatically; you don’t place or manage the trade yourself.
4

Keep the profit — losses are covered

BTC’s price will move during the two-minute position. If the position closes in profit, the profit is credited to your Decibel account in USDC. If it closes at a loss, nothing is deducted from your deposit. The most the trade can cost you is $0.
5

Keep using your deposit

Your deposit (and any profit from your trade) remains your USDC. You cannot withdraw it until your selected period ends, but it remains available for you to place your own trades on Decibel. Any trades you place yourself are separate from the sponsored position and carry normal trading risk. Losses from your own trades are not covered by the campaign. When your selected period ends, you can withdraw any remaining funds.
Leverage by Lock Period: Eligibility:
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Not available in the United States, Ontario (Canada), or other restricted jurisdictions. Other terms and eligibility conditions apply.
  • Limit one (1) trial credit per wallet address.

Liquidation Rebate Live

Runs in twice-monthly cycles: the 1st through the 15th, then the 16th through the last day of the month. Between one cycle closing and the next opening there may be no claimable rebate; /rewards always shows the current window. Got liquidated? Decibel is giving you a second chance. If your account was liquidated on Decibel, you’re eligible for a rebate of 50% of your liquidated margin, up to $500 per account. Redeposit, place a trade, and claim your rebate. This campaign runs each cycle until the reward pool is exhausted.
Eligibility:
  • Your account must have been liquidated on Decibel within the current or previous cycle.
  • You must redeposit and place at least one new trade after the liquidation event.
  • Rebate caps at $500 per account per cycle.
You have two cycles to qualify: You don’t have to redeposit and trade again inside the same cycle you were liquidated in. A liquidation late in a cycle still pays; it simply pays on the following one:
  • Liquidated on August 25 (the August 16–31 cycle), redeposited and trading again on September 7 → your August liquidation is paid out on the September 1–15 cycle.
No liquidation is ever paid twice. The extra cycle only gives you more time to meet the requirements, so a large liquidation near a cycle boundary doesn’t fall off a cliff. How it works:
  • At the end of each cycle, liquidation events are reviewed, and rebate amounts are calculated for eligible accounts.
  • Eligible users receive an in-app notification when their rebate is ready to claim.
  • Visit /rewards and click “Claim” to credit the rebate to your trading account.
  • Expiry runs from the moment a rebate becomes claimable, not from the liquidation: an allocation is claimable until the end of the cycle after the one it was published in. Straddled liquidations therefore get the same full window as any other. The exact date is on the tile in /rewards.

Maker Rebate Live

Decibel rewards accounts that add depth to the order book. If you maintain an 80%+ maker ratio with bulk orders over a cycle, you will receive a 0.5 bps rebate on your qualifying maker fill volume. This is a direct rebate paid on top of standard fees… not points, not speculation. Spot maker volume counts double. The rebate is paid on:
The 2x on spot is there to pull new liquidity onto the spot book, and to account for the fact that perp maker volume is leveraged. Perp and spot qualify separately. The 80% maker ratio is measured on each leg independently, so if you act as a maker on spot but as a taker on perp, you still earn on your spot volume — you just don’t earn on your perp volume. Eligibility:
  • Your maker ratio must be 80% or higher for the cycle, measured by fill volume from bulk (batch) orders, and measured separately for perp and for spot.
  • Only maker fill volume from bulk orders counts, on both perp and spot. Standard single-order fills are excluded.
  • Spot maker notional counts 2x toward your rebate volume; perp counts 1x.
  • The $25,000 monthly cap is shared across the two cycles in the month. If total qualified rebates exceed what’s left, payouts are distributed pro rata.
How it works:
  • At the end of each cycle, qualifying maker volume and rebate amounts are calculated per account, per leg.
  • Allocations are published on-chain, and a claim notification appears in-app.
  • Visit /rewards and click “Claim” to credit the rebate to your trading account.
  • Expiry runs from publication: an allocation stays claimable until the end of the cycle after the one it was published in. The exact date is on the tile in /rewards.

Builder Rebate Live

A fixed pool of $25,000 per cycle ($50,000 a month), shared between the apps that route order flow to Decibel through builder codes. Every fill you route carries your builder code. At the end of each cycle the pool is allocated by a weighted score across three KPIs, then constrained by two caps. Cycles are calendar half-months, the same boundaries the Maker and Liquidation Rebates use. The second half of a month runs 13–16 days depending on month length. A cycle is only ever reported once it has closed. The three KPIs: Spot routed volume counts double toward the volume KPI:
The 2x adds no money to the pool, it re-slices the same 50 points toward builders routing spot flow. Spot feeds the volume KPI only; new user volume and active traders stay perp-only. Attribution is per side. A perp fill counts for you whether your code is stamped on the maker or the taker side, so maker-heavy flow is worth the same as taker flow. Spot attribution is taker-side only. Score and payout:
Each KPI is normalized across qualifying builders only, and each is normalized independently. Two caps, the tighter one binds:
  • Fee cap — your payout cannot exceed 4x the net Decibel fees your routed flow generated in the cycle, measured after the builder fees forwarded to you. Flow that leaves Decibel little or no net fee is capped at or near $0 no matter how well it scores.
  • Share cap — no single builder takes more than 75% of the pool ($18,750).
Whatever a capped builder leaves on the table is redistributed pro rata by score to builders still under their cap, repeating until the pool is exhausted or every builder is capped. If every qualifying builder caps out first, the remainder is simply not distributed, so a cycle can pay out less than $25,000. Worked example — three qualifying builders: A is capped by its fees at $8,000; its $7,625 of overflow goes to B and C in proportion to their scores (25.3125 : 12.1875 — the split uses full-precision scores, not the rounded ones), and neither hits its own cap. The full $25,000 is distributed. Eligibility:
  • Your builder code must be registered with Decibel. Volume routed by an unregistered code is still measured and shown, but scores zero, so get your code listed before the cycle you want to be paid for.
  • You need at least one active trader in the cycle.
  • Accounts flagged for wash trading or sybil activity are removed before any KPI is computed.
How it works:
  • At the end of each cycle, KPIs, scores and payouts are computed per builder and reviewed by the Decibel team.
  • Builder payouts are settled directly with each builder. Unlike the other campaigns, they are not claimed from /rewards.
